Obituary of Carolina McCleery

Carolina Frances McCleery, 88, of Fishkill, NY died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at home. Born in Newburgh, NY on April 17, 1923, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Daisy Pink McCleery. A local resident for the past 20 years, Carolina worked as a manager in manufacturing for IBM in Poughkeepsie and she retired in 1992. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles, playing chess, reading and shopping. Carolina is survived by her nephew James McCleery of New Hope, PA and her niece Rosemary Lillo of Hyde Park, NY. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 8:30-9:30am at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am following visitation at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel of St. Peter's Parish, 299 Hudson View Dr., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 with Father Garisto officiating.
