Eleanor Parker, age 87, of Pleasant Valley, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at River Valley Care Center of Poughkeepsie, NY. Mrs. Parker was born November 30, 1924 in Waterbury, CT. She is the daughter of the late Edward A. and the late Catherine (Wood) Rose. She was employed by Hudson River State Hospital as a Dietician. She attended Poughkeepsie High School, loved to play Bingo, she adored her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She is survived by ; Daughter And Son In-law, Elizabeth And William Bomba of Poughkeepsie, NY; Daughter And Son In-law, Sharon And John Dixon of Highland, NY; Brother And Sister In-law, Arthur And Dolores Rose of Sebastian, FL; Sister, Vivian Angelo of Poughkeepsie, NY; Granddaughter, Tracey Mohrmann and her husband Scott of Poughkeepsie, NY; Granddaughter, Ginnie Ashline and her husband TJ of Pleasant Valley, NY; Granddaughter, Catherine Soentgen and her husband Matthew of Venice, FL; Granddaughter, Randy Briggs of Poughkeepsie, NY; Grandson , Rusty Reynolds and his wife Shelley of Highland, NY; Granddaughter, Trishia VanEron of CT; Grandson, William Weil Jr. of Phoenicia, NY. Eleanor was predeceased by a Daughter Bonnie Lee Weil, a Son Henry Charles Ludwig Jr., Sister Alice Bogad, and a Brother William Rose.. Calling hours will be Monday, May 21 from 4pm to 7pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. The funeral service will be held 6:30 pm during visitation.
