Obituary of Helen Torchia

Helen J. Torchia, born July 10, 1934 in Hudson, NY - passed away peacefully at home July 21, 2012 in Kent, WA of congestive heart failure. Preceded in death by her husband, Tom, in 2006, and daughter Michele (MacIsaac) in 2008. Survived by her son, Tom Torchia and wife Kathleen of Kent, WA; grandson, James Torchia of Seattle, WA; sisters, Jeanette Dyer of Saratoga, CA, Gert Papp of Germantown, NY, and Edna Van Hoesen of Hudson, NY; brother, Earl Johns of Edenton NC, son-in-law John MacIsaac of Poughkeepsie, NY, and many friends. Mass to be held 10:00am at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie August 18th, 2012, with burial at Saint Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY. Helen had a wonderful sense of humor and positive outlook on life, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Remembrances in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of your choice.
