Obituary of Ronald Lake

Ronald B. Lake, 65 of Tillson, NY passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. Born on September 25, 1947 he was the son to Ronald F. Lake and Harriet DuBoise Lake. On September 25, 1968 Ronald married Suzanne E. Briggs in Poughkeepsie, NY. Suzanne survives at home. Ronald worked for Central Hudson in Kingston for 35 years until retiring in July 2008. Ronald loved to build and collect model cars, he had a passion for older cars and enjoyed restoring them. He also enjoyed going to the Casino in Monticello, and he loved watching the horse races. Ronald was an avid hummingbird watcher and a Bass fisherman as well. He enjoyed helping others and he loved his grandchildren very much. Ronald is survived by his son, Michael Lake of Kingston, NY, Daughter, Kimberly and husband Joseph Patsy of Hyde Park, NY, Mother, Harriet Lake of Poughkeepsie, NY, Sister Barbara and Husband Jim Yerks of Hyde Park, NY, Mother-in-law Rowena Nenni of Poughkeepsie, NY, Sister-in-law Judith Wright and husband Franklin of Syracuse, NY, Grandchildren, Justin, Maggie, and Allison Patsy of Hyde Park, NY and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or St. Judes children hospital. Calling hours will be held at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 10am. Burial will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
