Obituary of Michael Malfetano

Michael Malfetano, age 60, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away peacefully on June 21, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center in the company of loving family. Michael was born on May 9, 1961 in Westwood, NJ to the late Biagio and Edythe Malfetano.

Michael grew up in Dobbs Ferry, NY. He was a graduate of Iona College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Michael attended the NYPD Police Academy and served as a police officer with the New York City Police Department and the Town of Greenburgh Police Department.

Michael is survived by his wife Laura, his loving sons Kevin (Kaeli) and Brett, brothers Victor and Vincent (Supreme), sister Maryanne McNamara (Daniel), his beloved grandchildren Jaxon and Liliana, and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. Martin de Porres Parish, 118 Cedar Valley Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
