Obituary of Bruce E. Donegan

Bruce E. Donegan, 73 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Bruce was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on February 10, 1949 to the late James F. and Catherine Stickle Donegan.

A local resident all his life, Bruce attended FDR High School and was a graduate of DCC and was employed in retail at Macy's Department store. He was an avid sports fan of the Yankees, San Francisco 49ers and the NY Knicks. He was a student of Martial Arts and attended World Tae Knowdo. Bruce earned a 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Knowdo and was also a student of Akido and modern Arnis as well has Thi Chi.

Bruce is survived by his brother Dale Donegan of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Funeral Services will follow the next day on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Burial is at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum in Poughkeepsie, NY.
