Obituary of Tammy Jo Norris-Cassar

It’s with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wife, Mother “momma”, Mimi, Daughter, Sister, and Friend,

Tammy Jo Norris- Cassar, Tammy was well known for her quick wit, sarcasm, generous and loyal nature who made everyone in the room feel special, she was just easy to love. Tammy was a Dutchess County resident for forty years, thirty of them in which she worked at the Heart Center, where she made lifelong friendships. Tammy married Michael Cassar in 2006 and resided in Hyde Park. Tammy enjoyed cooking and gardening, but her true passion was her family; especially being Mimi to her five beautiful grandchildren. Tammy is predeceased by her beloved son Kevin James Hall whom she has missed dearly for 9 years and her father, Robert Norris. Tammy is survived by her loving husband Micheal Cassar, daughter Amber Carille and husband Dan, daughter-law Katie Greaven, Mother Jean Norris, siblings Timothy Norris and wife Heather, Donna Hartley and husband Darrin, Debbie Maynard, and Doug Norris and wife Liz and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her precious grand babies Dominic James “DJ” Hall, Emma Kathryn Hall, Amaya James Hall, Ivy Jo Carille, and Daniel James Carille.

Funeral Services will be held 10am on Tuesday at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, New York.
